An illegal immigrant was jailed today for breaking the neck of a young ballet star in a violent street mugging.

Doctors feared Jack Widdowson, 19, would spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair after being robbed for his mobile phone on a night out.

He was found unconscious on a canal path and paralysed after being targeted in the robbery of his iPhone.

Mohammed Ali Mohamoed, 27, who has been found guilty of breaking ballet dancer, Jack Widdowson's neck during a street robbery in Cardiff

But the court heard that nine months later Mr Widdowson - an apprentice with the Bern Ballet in Switzerland - had fought back to full health due to his extreme fitness, strength and flexibility.

His attacker Mohammed Mohamoed, 27, was jailed for 13 years after being found guilty of attacking Mr Widdowson.

Egyptian-born Mohamoed will be deported from the country when he is released from prison.

Judge Justice Wyn Williams told him: 'You as a dangerous offender.

You caused Jack extremely serious injury and he was very fortunate he didn't suffer permanent, devastating effects.

'You left him lying in the street which was callous in the extreme.

Much credit is due to the young man who came across him and helped him and the medical staff who treated him afterwards.

'You will be subject to an automatic deportation when you have served your sentence - that will be in the hands of the home office.'

Mr Widdowson, one of the youngest apprentices to be taken on by the Swiss company Bern:Ballet, was attacked while visiting his brother who is studying at Cardiff University.

The day before the attack he had his 'big break' when he was called up as an understudy for a leading ballet role.

But Cardiff Crown Court heard his night came to a violent end when he was attacked by Mohamoed who took his Apple iPhone and left him for dead in the street.

A jury was shown a video interview with the rising star, from Bath, Somerset, as he lay in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace after the attack.

He told police: 'I have broken neck, that's going to have to have a hell of a lot of rehab and physio to get back to where I was.

'I've been told I'll make a full recovery and that's what I want to do - I just want to put this whole thing behind me.'

The court heard that minutes after the alleged attack Mohamoed was seen laughing and joking in the city centre, even kicking a football around with a group of boys.

Unemployed Mohamoed was later arrested at his home in Splott, Cardiff. The court heard Mohamoed was born in Egypt and his parents, who are farmers, still live there.

He drifted through Europe first moving to Italy before settling in Cardiff where he claimed to be a Palestinian refugee.

Mohamoed lied to the UK border agency giving them a fake name and date of birth - he later tried to mislead the police in the same way.

Prosecutor Michael Mather-Lees QC told Mohamoed: 'You broke his neck, then you lied to police because you realised you had committed a dreadful offence.'

Mohamoed was caught on CCTV prowling Cardiff city centre looking for a victim to attack.

He admitted meeting Widdowson and stealing his mobile phone which he later used to make a call to a friend in Italy before selling it at a market.

But he denied attempted murder and told the court the young ballet dancer was unharmed when he left him in the dark alleyway in Cardiff Bay.

Mohamoed, who admitted theft, was found guilty of grievous bodily harm and jailed for 13 years.

After the case his parents Julian and Celia, who have since set up a charity called the Dance Again Foundation, praised Jack for his recovery.

It said: 'Jack has made an amazing recovery from a horrific injury and we would like to htank the many people who have helped to achieve that.

'He has been performing for some time now and has already performed publically on a number of occassions. \\

We and he are just delighted that he has been able to resume his career as a dancer despite what happened to him.'

Detective Constable Mike Owens of South Wales Police said: 'Jack had been enjoying a night out with family and friends when he was subjected to a shocking level of violence by Mohammed Mohamoed.

'Amazingly Mr Widdowson, who is such a talented young man, has made a full recovery and we are delighted that he is back dancing again.

'Today's decision will hopefully allow Jack and his family to finally put this incident behind them.'

Brothers Akhtar Dogar, 32, and Anjum Dogar, 31, and Mohammed Karrar, 38, and Bassam Karrar, 34, were handed the life terms alongside Kamar Jamil, 27.

Judge Peter Rook told the brothers they were "exceptionally grave crimes" as they were jailed for a minimum of 17 years.
The seven defendants, including a second set of brothers, were found guilty of a catalogue of offences against the vulnerable underage girls, including rape, trafficking and organising prostitution, last month.
Co-defendant Kamar Jamil, 27, was jailed for life with a minimum term of 12 years.

The judge told him: "I accept that you were a follower rather than a leader, the leadership role was played by the Dogar brothers."
In my view you do have a predatory sexual interest in young girls
    Judge Peter Rook
But he said Jamil had joined in the group rape of one of the victims and accepted that he was a risk to girls aged 11 to 16.
The judge said the gang had targeted vulnerable girls, and said on occasions "the depravity was extreme".
"You targeted the young girls because they were vulnerable, underage and out of control," he said.

He said each of the six victims had shown "enormous courage" in giving evidence during the trial.
He said they had come "knowing that they would be accused of lying, knowing they would have to relive their ordeals, knowing that they have not been believed in the past".
Mohammed Karrar, 38, was given life with a minimum of 20 years for the "dreadful offences" he committed against the girls.
The judge said he treated one of his victims as his "commodity" and forced another to carry out "depraved sexual" acts.

He told Karrar, who was found guilty of 18 offences, including rape of a child under 13 and procuring an abortion, conspiracy to rape, child prostitution and trafficking: "You do and will continue to represent a high risk to young girls."

His brother, Bassam Karrar, 34, was also handed a life sentence.
Jailing him for a minimum of 15 years, the judge referred to the "grotesque sex acts" he had carried out with his older brother.

He had been found guilty of nine offences including rape of a child under 13, conspiracy to rape a girl under 13, child prostitution and trafficking, which the judge described as "offences of truly exceptional gravity".
Assad Hussain, 32, received a total of seven years in prison.

The judge told him he had been convicted of serious offences, although they were in a "different league" to those of his five co-defendants.

"In my view you do have a predatory sexual interest in young girls and your actions show a callous disregard for the consequences of your actions," he said.
The judge said Hussain - who the court heard had lost two young children with his wife because of a congenital defect - had no history of sexual offending and although he had previous convictions, they were "of a different nature".

Zeeshan Ahmed, 28, was jailed for seven years for two counts of sexual activity with a child.

The judge said he had known the girl was aged just 14 and he was still deemed harmful to girls under 16.
The Qur'an allows for the owning of sex slaves:
If you fear that you will not act justly towards the orphans, marry such women as seem good to you, two, three, four; but if you fear you will not be equitable, then only one, or what your right hands own; so it is likelier you will not be partial. (Qur'an 4:3)
This verse is the basis for Islamic polygamy, allowing a man to take as many as four wives, as long as he believes he is able to “deal justly” with all of them. But justice in these circumstances is in the eye of the beholder. Ibn Kathir says this the requirement to deal justly with one’s wives is no big deal, since treating them justly isn’t the same as treating them equally: “it is not obligatory to treat them equally, rather it is recommended. So if one does so, that is good, and if not, there is no harm on him.”
The verse goes on to say that if a man cannot deal justly with multiple wives, then he should marry only one, or resort to “what your right hands own” – that is, slave girls.
The Qur'an commentator Maulana Bulandshahri explains the wisdom of this practice, and longs for the good old days:
During Jihad (religion war), many men and women become war captives. The Amirul Mu’minin [leader of the believers, or caliph – an office now vacant] has the choice of distributing them amongst the Mujahidin [warriors of jihad], in which event they will become the property of these Mujahidin. This enslavement is the penalty for disbelief (kufr).
He goes on to explain that this is not ancient history:
None of the injunctions pertaining to slavery have been abrogated in the Shari’ah. The reason that the Muslims of today do not have slaves is because they do not engage in Jihad (religion war). Their wars are fought by the instruction of the disbelievers (kuffar) and are halted by the same felons. The Muslim [sic] have been shackled by such treaties of the disbelievers (kuffar) whereby they cannot enslave anyone in the event of a war. Muslims have been denied a great boon whereby every home could have had a slave. May Allah grant the Muslims the ability to escape the tentacles of the enemy, remain steadfast upon the Din (religion) and engage in Jihad (religion war) according to the injunctions of Shari’ah. Amen!
This is by no means an eccentric or unorthodox view in Islam. The Egyptian Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni declared in May 2011 that “we are in the era of jihad,” and that as they waged jihad warfare against infidels, Muslims would take slaves. He clarified what he meant in a subsequent interview:
...Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels….Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars--there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.
When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an by the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Qur’an 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex-slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex-slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point--there is no disagreement from any of them. [...] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.
Right around the same time, on May 25, 2011, a female Kuwaiti activist and politician, Salwa al-Mutairi, also spoke out in favor of the Islamic practice of sexual slavery of non-Muslim women, emphasizing that the practice accorded with Islamic law and the parameters of Islamic morality.
...A merchant told me that he would like to have a sex slave. He said he would not be negligent with her, and that Islam permitted this sort of thing. He was speaking the truth….I brought up (this man’s) situation to the muftis in Mecca. I told them that I had a question, since they were men who specialized in what was halal, and what was good, and who loved women. I said, “What is the law of sex slaves?”
The mufti said, “With the law of sex slaves, there must be a Muslim nation at war with a Christian nation, or a nation which is not of the religion, not of the religion of Islam. And there must be prisoners of war.”
“Is this forbidden by Islam?,” I asked.
“Absolutely not. Sex slaves are not forbidden by Islam. On the contrary, sex slaves are under a different law than the free woman. The free woman must be completely covered except for her face and hands. But the sex slave can be naked from the waist up. She differs a lot from the free woman. While the free woman requires a marriage contract, the sex slave does not--she only needs to be purchased by her husband, and that’s it. Therefore the sex slave is different than the free woman.”
While the savage exploitation of girls and young women is an unfortunately cross-cultural phenomenon, only in Islamic law does it carry anything approaching divine sanction. Here is yet another human rights scandal occasioned by Islamic law that the international human rights community and the mainstream media cravenly ignore.

Birmingham hospital treats 640 females for genital mutilation

Shocking figures have revealed that 640 females have been treated for genital mutilation at a Birmingham hospital.
Heartlands Hospital, in Bordesley Green, is one of six centres in the UK which is a specialist centre for victims of the sick ritual.
Statistics released by the National Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children show that of the 1,700 victims in the past two years, almost 40 per cent have been from the West Midlands area.
Now the charity has launched a helpline for children who feel they are at risk.
Female genital mutilation (FGM) is a form of child abuse common to some African, Asian and Middle Eastern communities in the UK.
This illegal and life-threatening initiation ritual can leave young victims in agony and with physical and psychological problems that can continue into adulthood.
The rituals are carried out in secret and often without anaesthetic.

Victims are usually aged between four and 10, but some are babies.
Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid is supporting the launch of the helpline after dealing with a number of cases.
Nasheima Sheikh, deputy chief executive of the group, said: “We welcome the launch of the FGM helpline. After three years of community development work with local practicing communities, we have found that 90 per cent of those we reached will help in ending the practice.
“Our work has also involved raising the awareness of many professionals working in the area. This has resulted in more enquiries to us and to statutory bodies – the police had 13 FGM enquiries from January to June this year. “
Lisa Harker, NSPCC head of Strategy, added: “Like other forms of abuse if female genital mutilation is not exposed it will continue to thrive and more children will suffer.”
The free 24-hour helpline on 0800 028 3550 at fgmhelp@nspcc.org.uk is for anyone concerned that a child’s welfare is at risk because of female genital mutilation and are seeking advice, information or support.

Muslim Leader: Imams Promote Grooming Rings...

The Oxford grooming ring was promoted by imams who encourage followers to think white women deserve to be “punished”, an Islamic leader has claimed.

Dr Taj Hargey, imam of the Oxford Islamic Congregation, said race and religion were inextricably linked to the recent spate of grooming rings in which Muslim men have targeted under-age white girls.
Earlier this week seven members of a child sex ring from Oxford were found guilty of forcing under age girls to commit acts of "extreme depravity".
Their victims, aged between 11 and 15, were groomed and plied with alcohol and drugs before being sexually assaulted and forced into prostitution. They targeted "out of control" teenagers.
Dr Hargey said that the case brought shame on the city and the community and is a set back for cross community harmony.
But worse still is the refusal to face up to its realities, he wrote in theDaily Mail.
That attitude has been promoted by religious leaders, he believes. “On one level, most imams in the UK are simply using their puritanical sermons to promote the wearing of the hijab and even the burka among their female adherents.
But the dire result can be the brutish misogyny we see in the Oxford sex ring.”
People tiptoe around the issues and refuse to discuss the problems exposed by the scandals such as those “from Rochdale to Oxford, and Telford to Derby”, he wrote.
In all cases the perpetrators were Muslim men and the victims were under age white girls.
To pretend it is not a problem is the Islamic community is “ideological denial”, Dr Hargey said.
“But then part of the reason this scandal happened at all is precisely because of such politically correct thinking. All the agencies of the state, including the police, the social services and the care system, seemed eager to ignore the sickening exploitation that was happening before their eyes.
“Terrified of accusations of racism, desperate not to undermine the official creed of cultural diversity, they took no action against obvious abuse.”
The men were allowed, he said, to come and go from care homes by the authorities, and if the situation had been reversed with gangs of white men preying on Muslim teenagers ”the state's agencies would have acted with greater alacrity.”
True Islam preaches respect for women but in mosques across the country a different doctrine is preached - “one that denigrates all women, but treats whites with particular contempt,” the Imam said.
The men are taught that women are “second-class citizens, little more than chattels or possessions over whom they have absolute authority," he claims in the column.
“The view of some Islamic preachers towards white women can be appalling. They encourage their followers to believe that these women are habitually promiscuous, decadent, and sleazy — sins which are made all the worse by the fact that they are kaffurs or non-believers.
“Their dress code, from miniskirts to sleeveless tops, is deemed to reflect their impure and immoral outlook.
According to this mentality, these white women deserve to be punished for their behaviour by being exploited and degraded.”
Such cases can only be prevented in the future if Britain abandons the blinkers of political correctness, he concludes.

‘I’m going to break every white bone in your white face’: Asian footballer jailed after racist tirade against match referee

Wasar Ahmed, 23, launched a foul-mouthed racist tirade against Ian Fraser after he gave him a red card warning the official: 'I’m going to break every white bone in your white face.'

As the other players and spectators looked on, angry Ahmed was escorted off the field shouting: 'I’m going to burn your white house down and kill your wife and kids - I know where you live.

I’m going to come and find your house.'

After the game finished, Ahmed stood near to Mr Fraser’s car and stared at him as he got in.

He was arrested soon after when the referee, who has 30 years' experience in officiating at matches, went to a police station and made a formal complaint to officers and the East Lancashire Football League.

Mr Fraser, 48, told police he had 'never known anything like it before, felt intimidated and was left extremely shocked.'

He said he feared further trouble because of the threats.

At Burnley Crown Court, jobless Ahmed, from Burnley, admitted causing racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress and was jailed for eight weeks after a judge said referees were entitled to protection from badly behaved footballers.

After the case Mr Fraser, a father-of-two, of Barrowford, Lancashire, said: 'I think this sentence has to be a deterrent to other sports people who abuse match referees and then assume they can get away with it.

'I am very thick-skinned but there was no way anyone could tolerate this - especially when someone launched into the threats he made against me and my family.

Not standing for it: Referee Ian Fraser went straight to the police and reported Wasar Ahmed
'Someone having a verbal attack at me is normally off the cuff but this went on for so long and it was coming from a young lad who was vile in what he was saying. I just can’t believe he would go to such length all for a game of football.

'I have been refereeing since I was 16 and I’ve played an awful lot of football but I’ve never heard anything as bad as what he was saying.

'Referees should be respected but if people see the Premier League players swearing at referees then it cascades down to matches at amateur level likes ours.'

The incident took place last December when Mr Fraser was referring a match between Daneshouse FC and Prairie Utd.

Striker Ahmed, who played for Daneshouse, became angry when he felt Mr Fraser should have acted over a throw-in during the match.

Not standing for it: Referee Ian Fraser went straight to the police and reported Wasar Ahmed The referee, who was being paid£22 to referee the match, asked him for his name.

But Ahmed refused and swore again instead calling him 'mother f**ker' and telling him to 'f**k off.'

Mr Fraser, a sales manager, added: 'It was vile what was coming out of his mouth, heat of the moment stuff.

'You are meant to respect a referee and in any other sport like rugby or cricket, where referees have to be respected it happens.

'But it doesn’t seem to be the case in football and that day I wasn’t being respected especially if he was making threats to kill.

'This behaviour should not be accepted and should be stamped out from a higher level.'
Not standing for it: Referee Ian Fraser went straight to the police and reported Wasar Ahmed

In court Miss Silvia Dacre, prosecuting, said Mr Fraser had to get Ahmed’s name from his team manager, after refusing to re-start the match until he was given it.

She said Ahmed remained on the edge of the pitch and threatened Mr Fraser who said the game would not start again until the player was removed.

Ahmed later said he could not remember exactly what he said but admitted he had lost his temper.

It was also revealed he was in breach of a 32 weeks suspended prison term for assault.

Defence lawyer Richard Taylor said: 'The defendant doesn’t dispute that he lost it. He was upset and frustrated and says he had let his team mates down. He was very sorry and he regretted that.

'He accepts that his behaviour was very poor - but I do believe he’s learned his lesson.'

Judge Graham Knowles QC told Ahmed: 'This was a quite outrageous, deeply offensive profoundly unpleasant attack on a man who was just doing his best as a referee.

He and others are entitled to protection.

'This incident went on for 20 minutes or so and you had opportunities to calm down and at the very least not make things worse - but you made it worse.'

Ken Inkle, chairman of the East Lancashire Football League, added: 'I can’t remember any incident like this ever taking place on the pitch in our league. Daneshouse FC have now withdrawn from the league, which was probably for the best.'

Laughing thugs poured acid over mother as she walked her six-year-old twins home from school

A gang who laughed as they doused a woman in acid while she walked her six-year-old twins home from school have been jailed for a total of 44 years.

The attackers was heard laughing as the noxious liquid was sprayed at the screaming mother in front of her two boys outside Upton Cross Primary School in Upton Park, east London.

Speaking after the attack the woman, who suffered horrendous burns to her face and body, said: 'I saw a man approach me who was carrying something in a bottle.

'He threw it over me and after a few seconds it started burning. I was crying: "Please help me! Please help me!"'

It is thought Yannick Ntesa, 25, sprayed the acid and made his getaway in a red BMW with
Abdul Motin, 28, and 31-year-old Ahad Miah.

The 44-year-old mother, from Plaistow, fled to a neighbour's home where water was poured over her burning clothes.

Some of the acid burnt her son's satchel while another mother also suffered minor injuries in the attack on March 24, 2011.

The victim was rushed to the Royal London Hospital and later transferred to a specialist burns unit in Chelmsford, Essex.

She suffered 16 per cent chemical burns and is still receiving medical treatment.

Following a six week trial at Blackfriars Crown Court a jury convicted Ntesa, Motno and Miah of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm and throwing a corrosive fluid on another with intent.

Motin, from Stepney, east London, was jailed for 16 years.

Abdul Motin (left) was jailed for 14 years and Ahad Miah (right) was jailed for 16 years for their role in the attack

Ntesa, from Paddington, and Miah, of no fixed address, were both jailed for 14 years.

No motive was given for the attack but Detective Inspector John Reynolds, of Newham CID, said: 'This was a truly shocking attack on a mother who had her two very young children with her at the time.

'It was only by chance that those children were not seriously injured. They did however suffer terrible shock from seeing their own mother so horrifically assaulted.

The attackers was heard laughing as the liquid was sprayed at the screaming mother outside Upton Cross Primary School in east London

'The victim in this case is entirely innocent but will now spend the rest of her life having to adjust to the severe disfigurement inflicted on her.

'This sentencing demonstrates just how seriously the Met police and the courts treat such incidents. Those responsible have been bought to justice and we can only hope it brings some small comfort to the victim.'

Naomi Oni, 21, who worked at Stratford's Westfield Shopping Centre, spent a month in hospital after an acid attack in Dagenham, Essex, in the early hours of December 30 last year.

In April a 28-year-old woman, named as Tara, had acid squirted in her face after answering the door of her home in Romford, to a stranger.

Muslim man who ritually slaughtered goats didn’t know it was against the law

A Somali refugee who improvised a halal abattoir in a private house where he killed four goats, has been sentenced to a 12 months in jail suspended for two years by an Irish court.
Rashid Kibaga pleaded guilty to operating an unlicensed abattoir and cruelty to animals after he cut the throats of the four goats and allowed them to bleed to death in a house in Balloonagh, Tralee.
The police had been alerted to the incident by people living nearby who had heard the goats "screaming in pain". When they arrived, they found Rashid Kibaga and two other unidentified men who also lived at the Atlas House asylum seekers' hostel in Tralee.
Two of the animals had been skinned and another had been beheaded. The animal's head was lying on the ground near a number of knives and a large pool of blood. A fifth kid goat was found alive in a shed on the premises.
Animal welfare inspectors were called to the scene and took away the kid goat which was described as being in very poor condition. In their report they said that the goats "would have felt pain and been terrified" while being killed.
Mr Kibaga said that he had killed the animals in the ritual halal fashion not realising that it was against Irish law to treat animals like this. He had no previous criminal record.
Brian McInerny, acting for the defence, said that his client was a strict Muslim and this was the sort of thing he would have done all his life in Somalia. He had no idea it was illegal. He now accepts his actions were wrong and "apologises to the people of Ireland for offending them."
The judge in the case said that while he respected Mr Kibaga's religious beliefs, the law of the land had to be observed. He agreed with the defence barrister that a custodial sentence would not be necessary, even as a deterrent, as it was "unlikely that an outbreak of goat-slaying would break out in Tralee."

Taxi rapes are rarely reported; apparently because the politically incorrect crimes are not deemed to be newsworthy. BBC radio host Sam Mason, a single mother, was fired after she called a taxi company and requested a "non-Asian" driver to take her 14-year-old daughter to her grandparents' home; preferably a female driver. The operator refused, and said, "We would class that as being racist." Mason responded, "It's not your 14-year-old girl." A BBC spokesman said, "[Mason's] comments were completely unacceptable…she will no longer be working for the BBC."
Great Britain is in the throes of a rape and pedophilia epidemic unlike anything the country has experienced in living memory.

Many of the sex crimes are being perpetrated by Muslim child grooming gangs responsible for drugging, raping and torturing hundreds and possibly thousands of British girls.
But another wave of sex crimes involves predatory Muslim taxi drivers who are raping female passengers. The number of so-called taxi rapes is snowballing to such an extent that a British judge has issued a warning that no woman can expect to be safe while traveling in a cab.
Reliable statistics on taxi rapes nationwide are difficult to obtain, and Freedom of Information requests seeking accurate data on cab-related sexual assaults are routinely denied (here and here).

However, a much acclaimed report produced by the London Metropolitan Police Service estimates that on average there are a total of 1,125 sexual assaults, including rapes, each year involving taxi drivers in just London; this works out to approximately 22 sexual assaults against women by taxi drivers each week in England's capital city alone.
Moreover, according to a report entitled, "Ending Violence against Women and Girls in the UK," published by the Home Office in March 2013, only around one in ten women who experience serious sexual assault report it to the police. As a result, one can infer that the actual number of taxi rapes across Britain as a whole is far greater than many are willing to admit.
Apart from a few high-profile cases, taxi rapes are rarely reported by national newspapers in Britain, apparently because the politically incorrect crimes are not deemed to be newsworthy.
But a survey of stories buried deep inside local newspapers shows that taxi rapes are occurring in all parts of England, Wales and Scotland on an almost daily basis.
In a recent case in London that was reported by national newspapers, Mohamed Hacene-Chaouch, 46, was sentenced to seven years in prison for raping a 24-year-old female passenger in his unlicensed taxi. Hacene-Chaouch -- an Algerian married father of five -- assaulted the woman after she got lost in Soho, central London.
The woman, who had been celebrating a friend's birthday and had become inebriated, told the jury that the last thing she remembered was being in the back of a car and being taken to an ATM machine. She said she drifted in and out of consciousness but woke up inside the car in front of her east London home to find Hacene-Chaouch raping her. Although Hacene-Chaouch denied the allegations, the crime was filmed by CCTV cameras.
Judge Wendy Joseph at the Old Bailey accused Hacene-Chaouch of being a sexual predator and said: "It must have been clear to you that she was helplessly and hopelessly drunk. She trusted you to take her safely home. She was clearly vulnerable, she was obviously helpless and in your power, and I regard this as a significant feature." Joseph added: "I haven't heard a single word of remorse in any way, shape or form."
Hacene-Chaouch -- who was acquitted of an almost identical attack in London in 2004 -- showed no emotion and stared straight ahead as the judge read the sentence. But as he was told he would be banned from working or seeking work as a taxi driver for 10 years, he gestured to his wife, who was watching the proceedings in the public gallery, and shouted: "Allah is great! I am innocent!"
In nearby Windsor, Anshul Sharma, 23, was charged with raping a 19-year-old woman who mistook his car for a legitimate taxi. She had been searching for a cab in the early hours of the morning when she was approached by Sharma, who claimed he was driving a licensed taxi. After she was in the car, he drove her to a remote location where he raped her.
In Blackburn on July 9, Talib Hussain, 62, was charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl, a passenger in his taxi. In Blackpool on July 8, Turkish-born Fatih Top, 38, was charged with raping an 18-year-old woman who was a passenger in his cab.
In Shrewsbury on July 6, Ahmet Baser, 34, was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison for raping an underage girl in his taxi. The victim and her friend were picked up by Baser's taxi outside a downtown night spot. After dropping off her friend, Baser went on to drive his victim into the remote countryside, where he raped her before taking her home.
In Nottingham on June 12, police said they were looking for an "Asian" taxi driver who sexually assaulted a 19-year-old passenger in his cab.
In Berkshire on May 21, Arshad Arif, 28, appeared at the Reading Crown Court on charges of driving a 17-year-old passenger in his cab to a remote park some 25 miles from her home and raping her twice. Arif was identified after it emerged he had earlier allowed the schoolgirl to use his phone, with her father noting down the number.
In Oldham on May 16, Tamur Yaqub, 32, was sentenced to eight years in prison after being convicted of attempting to rape a 15-year-old girl in the back of his car. The jury heard that Yaqub -- a married father of six -- had dragged the girl into his private-hire taxi after spotting her walking home. Judge Jeffrey Lewis of the Manchester Crown Court said: "You used considerable force against a girl who was no match for you. You subjected her to degradation and you have shown not the slightest remorse."
In Hemel Hempstead on May 7, Mashain Pitchei, 45, was sentenced to four years in prison for raping a 20-year-old female passenger. Pitchei, who pretended to be a taxi driver, was parked in the downtown Marlowes district when he offered a lift to the victim, who had been on a night out with friends. Believing it was a licensed taxi, she got into the vehicle and he drove off. Pitchei then pulled over in a suburb where he raped her.
In Heaton on April 11, Mohammed Akram, 35, pled guilty to sexually assaulting a woman in his taxi. After the woman entered the vehicle, Akram -- a married father of four -- drove to a remote location, where he attacked her.
In Peterborough on February 20, Mohammed Umar Anwar, 31, lost an appeal against the City Council's decision to revoke his taxi license after he admitted to police that he got a 15-year-old female passenger to perform a sex act on him when she had no money to pay the fare.
In Manchester on February 18, Elhadi Sakhri, 42, was sentenced to seven years and ten months for two counts of raping men who were passengers in his taxi. Sakhri -- who was granted asylum in Britain after complaining he faced persecution in Algeria because he was bisexual -- forced once of his victims up against a wall and raped him. He dragged the other victim by his arms down an alleyway where he raped him.
In London on February 6, police said they were looking for an "Asian" man accused of sexually assaulting three women in the Canning Town district.
In Leeds on January 9, Mohammed Shahin, 28, was sentenced to seven years in prison for raping a 20-year-old passenger who fell asleep in his taxi as he drove her home. A jury at the Nottingham Crown Court heard that from the moment the woman got in, Shahin switched off the GPS tracking system that monitored his vehicle's movements, suggesting he had a sinister motive from the outset. When she woke up, she found that Shahin had parked in a remote street in an unknown location. He then climbed into the back of the car and raped her before dropping her off near her home. The judge ordered that Shahin, after serving his sentence, be deported to his home country of Bangladesh.
In Accrington, Mohammed Ishaq, 38, was accused of raping a 35-year-old female passenger after taking her home. Also in Accrington, Mohammed Baig, 45, was accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old passenger. After dropping her off at her home, Baig left the victim with the words, "I'll look for you. I'll come and find you."
In Billingham, Khalile Maqsood, 31, was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison for abducting and raping a 20-year-old female passenger at knifepoint. Maqsood -- a married father of four -- offered the victim a lift. But when she got into the taxi he took a series of wrong turns, then stopped in a deserted parking garage and turned off the engine.
Maqsood told jurors that the victim had led him on and had been "really up for it." He added: "I'm only human at the end of the day. She'd come on to me. I made a mistake. I just gave in to temptation. She led me on. She consented to it. That's what she wanted."
The cab driver -- whose wife was pregnant with their fourth child when he committed the offense -- was expressionless as he was led from the dock. Judge Rodney Jameson of the Newcastle Crown Court said Maqsood had shown little understanding of, and no remorse for, what he had done.
In East Sussex, Abul Malik, 29, was jailed for seven years after being found guilty of raping a 19-year-old female passenger when she could not pay for her £6.80 ($10) fare home.
In Edinburgh, Ibrahim Selman fled Scotland after raping a woman and assaulting several others while working as a taxi driver. Selman, who was in the UK as an illegal immigrant, went on the run to the Sudan days after holding a female passenger hostage, repeatedly raping her and leaving her for dead in the street.
In Hull, Masoud Rahimi, 37, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old female passenger. The Iranian-born Rahimi denied it was him until the CCTV footage was shown to him, with the girl fleeing from his car as he was filling up the tank with gasoline.
In London, Salam Rahman, 27, and Mohammed Elahi, 26, were jailed for nine years for gang-raping two female passengers, one of whom was a 26-year-old newlywed. In Clapham, south London, Atiq Rehman, 20, tricked a 22-year-old woman into thinking he was a legitimate taxi driver. Rehman, an illegal immigrant from Pakistan who was twice refused asylum in Britain, raped the woman for 45 minutes while asking her how many children she wanted to have.
Also in London, Assadullah Razaq, 31, was sentenced to eight years in jail for raping a 28-year-old female passenger. The defense attorney said that Razaq, an Afghan refugee and a married father of three, admitted to having sex with the woman, but maintained it was not rape. His attorney said Razaq came to Britain after being tortured by the Taliban, and that something had affected his mental state.
At King's Cross in central London, police said they were looking for a Turkish cab driver who raped an 18-year-old passenger after driving her to a remote location. After the attack, he took her to Gloucester Place in Westminster where he pushed her from his vehicle and left her lying in a gutter.
In Manchester, Shahjahan Islam was sentenced to nine years in prison for sexually assaulting a 27-year-old female passenger. The victim had been out with friends when she decided to go home and got into a taxi driven by Islam. She gave Islam her address, he programmed it into his GPS and departed. After several minutes the woman realized they were going the wrong way. Eventually he stopped the car, climbed into the passenger seat and tried to rape her. DNA recovered from the woman led officers to identify Islam as the suspect.
In Newport, South Wales, Asif Iqbal, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for raping two female passengers on late-night rides home. Iqbal's wife was also jailed for six months after admitting to perverting the course of justice by offering money to one of the victims to withdraw her complaint. Police fear many more women may have been attacked by Iqbal, who targeted women outside pubs and nightclubs in the hope they would be drunk.
In Portsmouth, Muhammed Hasan, 35, was accused of locking a 19-year-old woman with learning disabilities into his cab and sexually assaulting her. In St. Helens, Mazish Muzaffar, 43, was charged with assaulting a female passenger in his taxi.
In Sheffield, Zahoor Mahmood, 40, was jailed for eight years for sexually assaulting two female passengers. Instead of taking his first victim to her home, he locked her in his cab for more than two hours, got into the back with her and tried to get her to snort cocaine to get her "in the mood." Three weeks later, Mahmood -- a married father of four -- spotted a 17-year-old girl walking home after a night out. He offered to take her home for free when she said she had no money for the fare, but then locked her in his cab for an hour, tried to get her to snort cocaine and then molested her. Before the attacks, Mahmood, who has been driving taxis in Sheffield for more than 15 years, had twice been stripped of his license after being convicted of drug offenses, but twice won appeals that allowed him to continue working.
In Teesside, Pakistani-born Liaqat Ali, 42, was sentenced to seven years in prison for raping a 16-year-old passenger as she dozed off drunk in his taxi. Ali -- a married father of four -- stopped for the girl in Middlesbrough and drove her to a secluded spot, where he attacked her. Ali admitted to picking the victim up but denied anything had happened. Once results of DNA evidence were obtained, he admitted to having lied.
The list goes on and on. Not surprisingly, more and more women-only taxi cab firms are springing up around the UK to cater to women who prefer to see another female at the wheel. Women-only taxi firms now include London Lady ChauffeursPink Ladies in Warrington and Ladies Only Travel in Bradford.
A women-only taxi service has yet to arrive in Bristol, where BBC Radio host Sam Mason was fired after she called a taxi company and requested a "non-Asian" driver to take her 14-year-old daughter to her grandparents' home. Mason, a single mother, told the operator that "a guy with a turban on would freak her daughter out," and insisted they send an English driver -- preferably a female English driver -- instead.
The operator refused to book a car and said: "We would class that as being racist. We can't just penalize the Asian drivers and just send an English one." Mason responded: "It's not your 14-year-old girl, is it?" To which the operator answered: "Yes, but that's racist to say you don't want an Asian driver."
The BBC was alerted to the conversation after it was recorded and sent to The Sun newspaper.
Mason was subsequently suspended and fired 24 hours later. A BBC spokesman said: "Although Sam Mason's remarks were not made on-air, her comments were completely unacceptable and, for that reason, she has been informed that she will no longer be working for the BBC with immediate effect."

He has said Osama bin Laden was a hero who had gone to heaven and that British soldiers should burn in hell

        Jailed: Jamaal Uddin

A white Muslim convert who vowed to bring Sharia law to the UK has been jailed for six weeks for beating up a photographer.
Jordan Horner, who changed his name to Jamal Uddin, also laid into a car, causing £3,000 of damage.
Horner, 19, had earlier said he believed Osama bin Laden was a hero who had gone to heaven and that British soldiers should burn in hell.
He converted after being approached leaving a pub and was later seen putting up posters across East London “banning” alcohol.
Speaking of his previous life and friends he said: “I don’t talk to any of them now.
"I have deleted their numbers from my phone and want nothing to do with them.
“As Muslims you can’t integrate with non-believers because their way of life is completely opposite - I would rather give up my friends and family than give up on Allah.
“Why would I miss people who choose to live in such an evil way with no respect? I just feel sadness for them.”
“A year ago I was doing what teenagers do - living a bad lifestyle, drinking, smoking, seeing girls. I was getting into trouble with the police.
“Then one evening, I met a brother who said there was another path I could take in life.
"When I spoke to him he had all the answers to the problems in my life and all my concerns."
He was jailed for criminal damage and assault over the attack in Walthamstow, East London, after a hearing at Newham Magistrates Court.

Caged radicals issued the threats at maximum security Long Lartin prison, which has held fundamentalists including Abu Qatada and Abu Hamza.
A prisoner at the jail said: “We are able to cook our own food here but if we attempt to cook pork in the communal kitchen it is deemed dangerous and even a threat to your life.
“The kitchen is usually occupied by 90% Muslims and we have been told if we cook pork we will be stabbed.”
The inmate, who told of the Islamic tyranny in lags’ mag Inside Time, also confirmed the Daily Star Sunday story that Muslim prisoners celebrated the murder of soldier Lee Rigby, 26, who was buried on Friday.
He said: “When the news came through on the TV I was shocked to hear some Muslim prisoners praising the actions of these two extremists and calling them ‘brothers’ and making derogatory commends about the ‘pig soldier’.
“These extremist views are not frowned on by other Muslims.” The inmate, who wished to remain anonymous, said he was calling on the authorities to stop prisoners at the Worcestershire jail being turned into potential terrorists.
“The kitchen is usually occupied by 90% Muslims and we have been told if we cook pork we will be stabbed”
        A prisoner at the jail
He warned: “Young Muslim men are being radicalised here and one day they may commit acts of terrorism in this country.
“There seems to be nothing being done here to stop it and people are scared to speak out.”
The plea came after we revealed MI5 and anti-terror police have bugged Britain’s high-security jails to stop them being used to launch Islamist attacks.
Spooks were brought in to weed out potential terrorists in the wake of Drummer Rigby’s shocking murder in May.
Long Lartin was one of the jails targeted in the terror probe.
The category A prison is one of seven top security jails reserved for Britain’s most dangerous murderers and terrorists.
Inmates have included deported hate clerics Qatada, 53, and Hamza, 55, Jeremy Bamber, 52, who killed five members of his family in 1985, and Daniel Sonnex, 27, who tortured two French students to death.

Detectives are looking for three teenagers after a 12-year-old girl was raped near garages in east London.
She was pinned down and attacked by two men aged between 17 and 19 whom she had just met, said police.
A third teenager went with them to the "secluded" area of Hibbert Road, near Theydon Street, Walthamstow.
The attack, which police described as "brutal", took place between 00:15 BST and 00:30 BST on Saturday.
Officers said the first suspect claimed he was 17 and called Mo. He was very thin, mixed race and had a diamond stud in his left ear.
The second was described as black and very tall. His hair was partly shaven and he was wearing black trousers and a red and blue shirt.
The third, who did not commit rape, said his name was Miles, police said.
Det Insp Simon Ellershaw said the girl had been "engaged in conversation" before being led to a "secluded area".

MUSLIMS TRY TO BAN TAXI DRIVER FOR DISPLAYING A ‘HELP FOR HEROES’ STICKER

This sticker can get you beheaded in dhimmi England (Lee Rigby), or suspended / fired from your job. Incredible, isn’t it? The fascist invader is free to utilize the complaint system to push sharia more and more into the country. And the politicians are doing nothing to put an end to it. It’s time to wake up and start deporting them.
A taxi driver said he was furious after the council tried to ban him from displaying a Help for Heroes sticker in his car.
Doncaster Council has now backed down over a threat to suspend driver Stephen Searston if he did not remove the stickers from his vehicle.
Mr Searston, aged 46, who has been a cabbie for 13 years, said he was threatened with suspension for displaying the sticker after alleged complaints from other drivers.
He said: “Not 25 minutes earlier I was given the all-clear following a visit by an official to St Sepulchre Gate taxi rank.”
“After he spoke to some of the other drivers he came back to me and said ‘you have to take the stickers down following other drivers’ objections’.
“I was only trying to support our lads in the Forces and I was told I couldn’t – it’s not right.
“It seems no one has had the nerve to complain to my face.”
Director of regeneration and environment Peter Dale said Doncaster Council fully supported the Forces, veterans and Help for Heroes and the authority understood that it was important for people to show their support for them.
He said: “All drivers are bound by our licensing conditions which state that they must seek approval from the council before displaying any adverts, notices or posters in their taxis.
“Although Doncaster Council is proud to support Help for Heroes, we must be fair to all and apply our licensing rules consistently.
“We met the driver to explain the correct process and, having completed this, he can now display the stickers.”

The Little Chef restaurant chain has been sold to a Kuwaiti-owned business.
The BBC understands that Little Chef, which employs 1,100 people, was sold for about £15m.
It has been taken over by the UK arm of Kout Food Group, which already runs more than 40 Burger King and KFC outlets in the UK as well as the Maison Blanc brand.
Turnaround specialists RCapital put the company up for sale in April and had warned about its future.
Little Chef serves more than 6 million customers a year.
        'Revitalise'
Kout "has exciting plans to revitalise the Little Chef brand," said Fadwa al-Homaizi, the chairwoman of Kout's UK arm.
"Little Chef will benefit from a process of brand renewal in keeping with current trends, supported by traditional British values," she added.
There had been fears that Little Chef would disappear from the UK's A-roads, marking the end of more than 50 years of trading in the UK, which began with an 11-seat restaurant in Reading in 1958.
RCapital has owned the roadside restaurant chain following administration in 2007, when it underwent significant restructuring.
That included cutting the number of outlets from 234 to 83 and reducing staff numbers from 4,000 to 1,100.
The firm said that Little Chef was the "biggest and longest turnaround in our nine-year history".
Jamie Constable, the head of Rcapital said: "Since we put Little Chef up for sale people have asked us, why sell the business? The answer is very simple. We are specialists in reversing the fortunes of businesses with significant financial and operational problems.
"It was much harder than we expected. As the country faced one of the worst economic declines in living memory, we rolled up our sleeves and got on with it, we believed we could make it work and we did."

These are the first pictures of a young soldier attacked in an Exeter underpass by a gang who chanted 'Lee Rigby' as they kicked him on the ground
He was wearing his military backpack at the time of the attack.
On route to his home in St Thomas, Exeter, he said he was targeted by a hateful mob who taunted him about being a member of the armed forces.
After a period of about two minutes he managed to escape after fighting off but fear his injuries could have been a lot worse.
The incident happened at just before 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.
He said: "I was walking home from the train station at Exeter Central and got to the ruins at Exe bridges. As I went into the underpass a group of lads walked past me.
"They stopped and asked if I was in the forces. I replied yes and before I could say why, fists were coming towards my face.
"I was knocked to the floor and then carried on kicking me for what felt like a couple of minutes.
"I crawled up in a ball but couldn't get up. One was trying to get a screwdriver out of his pocket. I managed to get it off him and fight him off.
"They were all covered up so I couldn't see any of their faces. They kept shouting Lee Rigby; like they wanted to recreate what happened."
After managing to escape and run off Alex was left with a split lip, sore ribs and a swollen jaw. He was treated at the NHS Walk in Centre
He said: "I have only been in the army six months but this is the first time anything like this has happened. I was very shaken up by it but am starting to get to grips with what happened."
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident. A spokesman said: "The victim has described the main offender as mixed race with camouflage clothing, six foot five inches tall, heavy build, wearing a black tracksuit top and had his face covered.
"He was accompanied by seven others. Anyone who witnessed anything in the area at the time or knows who is responsible should contact police on 101 quoting reference number DE/13/7080."

Two brothers in law who went on a sponsored walk wearing comedy mankinis had to be picked up by police - after they were pelted with stones and eggs by residents who told them 'this is a Muslim area' and demanded they leave.

Steven Ellis, 41, and Jason Hendry, 22, wanted to walk eight miles from Solihull to Birmingham city centre wearing the outfit featured in 2006 film Borat to raise money for Birmingham Dogs' Home.

But they ended up being escorted by officers after they were attacked as they passed through the Sparkbrook area of the city, claiming police said they had offended local Muslims during Ramadan.

They were driven through the area as locals hurled abuse at them - calling them paedophiles. Mr Ellis’s wife Victoria, 36, had followed the pair's journey in a car, with the couple's five young children.

She said: ‘We were basically run out of the area. We had stopped at a supermarket car park to give the dogs a drink as it was a hot day, and we were suddenly surrounded.

‘The men were taking off their jackets and threatening to fight Jason. I have seen nothing like it in my life before. The children were terrified as within minutes a crowd of 30 or 40 men assembled.

‘They began throwing stones and eggs at us. They were shouting at Jason saying that he was a pervert and a paedophile, and one of them called me a dirty white s***.

‘They told us that they hated dogs and told us to get out of the car park. The children were petrified and asked why these people were calling me a s***.

‘One egg narrowly missed hitting my 12-year-old son, Jason, leaving him petrified and even passing cars ended up being hit by the eggs and stones.

          The abuse was appalling.

‘We called the police and they came straight away. I asked the police what they were going to do to help us but they just said it was because of sensitivities over an EDL (English Defence League) march and Ramadan.

'It was disrespectful for the men to come here half-naked. This is a Muslim area and we don't want to see that'
          Irshad Armani, local butcher
‘We didn't even know there was an EDL march planned for that day - we had nothing to do with it. Our family just love dogs, we've homed a rescue dog and we wanted to raise money to help the charity.’

But local butcher Irshad Armani, 22, said: 'It was disrespectful for the men to come here half-naked. This is a Muslim area and we don't want to see that.

'People were fasting and we do not want to see anything considered impure or dirty during such an important month. That is why people were so upset by it.'

Iqbal Khan, 25, a carpet shop owner, added: 'They came here saying it was for charity, but what they were wearing barely covered their private parts.

'We see people come and go doing charity around here - black, white, Asian - but it is not appropriate to do it in a bad way, dressed as they were, especially when this is mainly an Asian and Pakistani area.'

Mr Hendry said: ‘A man who was in a nearby hairdresser came over and started having a go at us and then a guard at the supermarket and the manager came out and joined in.

‘It was disgusting behaviour. I was furious. I was angry with the local people for how they reacted and we tried to explain it was just a bit of fun, to raise money for charity.’

The police escorted them all back to Birmingham Dogs' Home because there were two groups of men waiting at the end of the road.

He added: ‘But it was also frustrating to have to be escorted as it made us feel like we had done something wrong. I am shocked and disgusted that this should happen in our city.

‘It was like something you see on TV. The idea behind the mankini walk started off as a dare and then we decided to make it a reality and do it to raise money for charity.’

‘We have a love and passion for dogs and we both wanted to do it to raise money for Birmingham Dogs' Home.’

Mrs Hendry added: ‘I grew up to respect people irrespective of colour or creed as have my children. But this was totally appalling and has made me so angry that this should happen during an event to help a charity.’

Comedy attire: The mankini was made famous in 2006 film Borat, seen being promoted here at the Cannes Film Festival in the same year by actor Sacha Baron Cohen (centre), who played the main character

However Raja Ahmad, 46, a local shopkeeper, said: 'The men were partially dressed and it's not really appreciated around here by the Asian or the English community.

‘The police moved them on and they said they were covering their modesty but it upset a lot of people in the community.'

'They told us that they hated dogs and told us to get out of the car park. The children were petrified and asked why these people were calling me a s***'
Victoria Ellis, 36, wife of Steven Ellis
The men raised £300 from the event, and have donated the money to the dogs' home.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: ‘Police were called to reports of tensions on Stratford Road in Sparkhill at around 2:50pm
on July 20 due to a group of men wearing fancy dress whilst on a charity walk.

‘Officers attended and worked closely with those at the scene to resolve the situation peacefully in order to ensure no unnecessary or unintended upset was caused.

‘Police left the area around 25 minutes later and there were no further calls to the location.’

          95 convictions

6 non-muslims (maybe they saw muslims getting away with it, so copied them)
20% of those convicted in the grooming gangs are called "Mohammed"
95% of those convicted in the grooming gangs are muslims
The Times article from Jan 5 2011, on this grooming phenomenon shows a realisation (at least in one newspaper) of the scale of the problem (attached as a PDF here).  You can see his original list (to the end of 2010).  There have been as many convictions since 2010, as there were in the previous 13 years investigated by Norfolk.
